The Season 18 Tournament - 10s Alien World is the season 18 tournament hosted by the official Arcanists 2 Discord Server. It is the first tournament to feature tournament points awarded to players, which can be used to purchase cosmetics in the Tournament Rewards Shop, instead of cosmetic rewards.

Format

• Participants
  • Open sign ups on the Arcanists 2 discord server.
  • Players are placed in divisions based on tournament elo.
  • 12 total participants.

• Group Stage
  • Round Robin group stage
  • Every player plays each other twice (two best of 1 games)
  • 3 points awarded for wins, 1 point for draws, and 0 for losses
  • Top 4 players advance to a single-elimination stepladder knockout stage

• Knockout Stage
  • Single-elimination stepladder knockout stage
  • 1st place player in the group stage advances directly to grand finals
  • 2nd and 3rd place players in the group stage advances directly to the 2nd round of the playoffs
  • 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th place players in the group stage advance to the 1st round of the playoffs
  • All games are best of 5
